MEET OUR PROJECT AFFILIATES
The PODER en SALUD project’s “Affiliates” are Latinx-serving and/or identified local organizations who directly support the work of the Core Partners in executing the project as well as helping advance the local COVID-19 responses in key regions. Project Affiliates represent the Latinx populations of focus that the project has set to reach and provide a wide array of programs and services to the community. They represent a variety of nonprofit organization types that include: community and grass-roots organizations, community health centers, federally qualified health centers, faith-based organizations
and state charters of national Latinx organizations that are trusted Latinx-identified/serving providers.
Affiliate organizations directly assist the project’s Core Partners with community inquiries/assessments, COVID-19 message design and dissemination, promotores community work and outreach, local collaborations as well as other direct services to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in key Latinx communities. Representatives from the Affiliate organizations also participate in the project’s Latinx National Advisory Committee (NAC).
